Your pace, your day

Explore Comfortably. Enjoy the Journey.

Based in Geneva, G-Express Tours creates private and small-group day tours for travelers who want to discover Switzerland and the French Alps in a more personal, comfortable and flexible way.

From the moment we pick you up at your hotel in Geneva, your day is taken care of. We handle the driving, plan the journey and help you make the most of every destination, so you can spend less time worrying about logistics and more time enjoying where you are.

Our experiences have been carefully created from our own knowledge of the region and our experience travelling with guests. Over time, we’ve learned what makes a great day out: what is really worth seeing, how much time to spend there, the best order to experience each place, where to stop, what to taste and, just as importantly, when to slow down and simply enjoy the moment.

We bring those details together to create days that feel effortless rather than rushed.

Forget travelling on a large coach with dozens of people, following a rigid timetable and being hurried from one attraction to the next. Our tours are designed around private and small-group travel, giving you more comfort, more personal attention and more flexibility throughout the day.

And every journey offers something different.

Great experience. The van was comfortable, and Gabor had the timing down so that we were able to enjoy each stop and avoided crowds. He was knowledgeable and helpful. We enjoyed the cheese factory, chocolate factory and palace very much! Also loved Gruyeres - very quaint village.

Gabor was our tour guide and he was fabulous! He was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about the history of The Gruyère castle, the Gruyère cheese factory and the chocolate factory along with the sightseeing along the way! If / when we come back to Geneva, we would request him again!

This was a nice trip out of Geneva with our guide Gabor in a comfortable minivan. The visit to Gruyère Castle was very scenic and the chateau was set up to imagine the history of the place. Views were stunning. Topping that off with a visit to the Callier chocolate factory was perfect. They have a unique tour experience.

About me

I’m originally from Hungary, but in 2003 I left my home country with a desire to see the world, meet new people, and experience different cultures.

That journey took me to sea, where I spent five years working aboard cruise ships. During those years, I travelled across five continents, visited countless countries, and worked alongside people from more than 60 nationalities. I speak three languages and understand two more, and I’ve always loved meeting people from around the world and hearing their stories.

After my years at sea, I continued my journey through Europe, living and working in several countries and gaining experience in luxury hospitality, including at the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace in Budapest and Hôtel Aiglon in Paris.

Paris became especially close to my heart, and I was fortunate to call the city home for five years.

Today, my wife, our two daughters and I live in one of the most beautiful regions of Europe, on the shores of Lake Geneva, surrounded by the Swiss and French Alps and the Jura Mountains.

We moved to this region in 2020, and the more I explored it, the more I discovered just how much it has to offer—from famous destinations to small villages, spectacular mountain scenery, local food and traditions, and wonderful places that many visitors never get the chance to discover.

That is what inspired me to share this beautiful part of Europe with my guests.

For me, a great private tour isn’t simply about getting from one attraction to another. It is about taking your time, discovering local places, hearing their stories, enjoying the journey, and creating memories along the way.

I hope I’ll have the pleasure of welcoming you personally on one of our tours.

And if you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for among our tours, just get in touch. We can tailor a private experience around the places you want to see, your interests, and the time you have available.

I look forward to showing you around!
